Tart Cherry Manhattan

  • 1 oz. non-alcoholic whiskey
  • 2 oz. tart cherry reduction*
  • 2 dashes non-alcoholic bitters
  • ¼ oz. pomegranate molasses
  • Optional garnishes: orange twist, frozen tart cherries


Add the n.a. whiskey, tart cherry reduction, bitters, and pomegranate molasses to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with frozen tart cherries and an orange twist if desired. 

*Tart cherry reduction  

  • ¼ cup frozen tart cherries 
  • ¼ cup dried tart cherries 
  • 1 cup water 
  • ½ cup honey 
  • Juice of ½ a lemon 

Add the frozen cherries, dried cherries, water, and honey to a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off heat and stir in the lemon juice.  Strain into a storage container and let cool to room temperature before using.
