Tart Cherry Vesper

Ingredients

  • ½ oz. ginger syrup*
  • ½ oz. tart cherry agave syrup*
  • ¼ oz. lemon juice
  • 2 oz. non-alcoholic gin or vodka
  • Optional garnishes: lemon twist, frozen tart cherries

Directions

Add the ginger syrup, tart cherry agave syrup, lemon juice, and n.a. gin or vodka to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist and frozen cherry if desired. 

*Ginger syrup  

  • ¼ cup sliced fresh ginger 
  • 2 cups water 
  • ¼ cup agave 

Add the ginger, water, and agave to a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and strain into a storage container.  Let cool to room temperature before using. 

*Tart cherry agave syrup 

  • ½ cup frozen tart cherries 
  • ½ cup dried tart cherries 
  • 1 cup water 
  • ½ cup agave 

Add the frozen tart cherries, dried tart cherries, water, and agave to a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes, then strain into a storage container. Let cool to room temperature before using.
